Papergang Theatre presents staged readings of new writing by British East Asian playwrights over three matinees.

A different play will be presented at each matinee. For the plays currently in development, this is an opportunity for them to receive their first performance. There will be a feedback/Q&A session with the playwright.

29th Nov: Lactose Intolerant – Naomi Christie
Sue is debt-ridden and poor. Her estate in Manchester is a prison for her and her son, Luke. A new man, Bill, offers hope of something better. And a series of unusual deals with a middleman are offering her a way out. But when one last deal requires the help of a reluctant Luke, she places in danger everything that is most important to her – her family.
